Live prices on your own website

Drop boards and charts on your domain so the public site stays current without hand-editing HTML every morning. Copy embed codes from Web Design Tools — same live data that drives your shop TVs.

Many dealers still run a WordPress or static marketing site next to ExtraCoins. Visitors expect to see gold and silver that is not three days stale. SpotPro Web Design Tools generates embed snippets for metal charts and display-style boards so your public pages track the market automatically.

Open Configuration → Web Design Tools, choose the layout or chart you want, copy the code, and paste it into your CMS before the closing body tag or into a custom HTML block. Boards respect the same subscription / sid identity as your live Display Screen and Buy Sheet URLs.

This is not a full shopping cart. For checkout, inventory, and payments use ExtraCoins. Embeds are for education, trust, and “what is silver today?” on pages you already own.

When to use embeds vs ExtraCoins

ExtraCoins is a full shop: cart, inventory, payments, shipping. Embeds are for your own domain — about pages, “current prices,” SEO articles, or a simple rates panel — when you are not ready to put the whole store on that hostname.

If you only need a shop, claim yourname.extracoins.com and skip embeds. If you already rank on yourshop.com, embeds keep metal numbers honest without rebuilding the whole site inside SpotPro.

Setup path

Log into members → Configuration → Web Design Tools. Pick display layout if offered, copy the snippet, paste into your site, hard-refresh. Confirm sid / subscription identity matches the shop whose premiums you want the public to see.

Keep premiums honest

Embeds show live metal; sell boards still use the premiums you set in Display Screen Setup. If the wall in the shop and the website disagree, check Config first — not the embed code.

Common questions

Short answers dealers ask before they try this on the floor.

Do embeds require coding skills?
You need a place in your CMS that accepts HTML/script embeds. Most WordPress “Custom HTML” blocks work. SpotPro gives the snippet; your host theme still owns page layout.
Can customers buy from an embed?
No. Embeds show prices/charts. Checkout and cart are ExtraCoins (or your own store). Link visitors to your shop when you want a sale.

What coin shops say

Real dealers. Real floors. Same software we run at The Coin Shop in Brighton.

Busy shop plus shows was always a juggling act. This system handles both without forcing us to keep separate lists or files. Stock stays consistent, labels are easy, and the online and wholesale pieces don't fight with the counter. It just feels practical. Happy we switched.

Shop + shows

We've been with SpotPro for 5 years, and it's been a Godsend for our shop. The standout? Definitely the Point of Sale Display. Also the text messaging — a quick notification after new stock and customers come calling.

TV boards · SMS

Since we started using SpotPro, we've noticed a significant change in how we do things. Real-time pricing and the POS Display have really helped. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try if you're in the business.

Live pricing

SpotPro's e-commerce service has increased our online presence. No selling fees. Absolutely worth it.

ExtraCoins · $0 cut

The text messaging service keeps our customers in the loop for new inventory. It's a great tool for letting customers know what's going on.

Messaging

The Scrap Gold table has made purchasing scrap gold super easy. New customers never question our prices.

Scrap gold

We've been really impressed with SpotPro's features, like the gold coin database. This thing saves a ton of time. Highly recommend!

Reference tools

I've been in this business long enough to be tired of software that doesn't get how we actually work. SpotPro finally does. Buying at the counter and at shows is way faster now, the prices on the big screen stay current so customers stop arguing, and the online store actually sells without nickel-and-diming us on fees. It's just made the whole shop run smoother.

Wasn't looking for another system, but a buddy talked me into trying it. Glad he did. Inventory, labels, counter, and the website all stay in sync for once. Customers trust the prices more because they update themselves, and the scrap gold tool is simple enough that even my part-timers don't mess it up. It's been a solid upgrade.

Inventory · scrap

The TV screen alone was worth it. People walk in, see the current numbers, and relax instead of pulling out their phones to check. Texting customers when new stuff comes in brings them back faster than I expected. Online sales are finally consistent without the usual marketplace headaches. Setup wasn't a nightmare either.

TV boards · SMS

I do a lot of shows and still keep the shop open, so I needed something that works in both places. Tracking buys by location, printing clean receipts, and keeping stock straight has been a relief. The online store and the wholesale side both pull from the same inventory, which cuts down on the usual double-entry mess. Feels like it was made by someone who's actually done this job.

Shows · wholesale

We used to bounce between a couple different programs and still end up with mistakes. Now everything's in one place and it just works. The price boards look professional, customers notice, and the directory listings have brought in a few new faces. Staff picked it up pretty quick. For what we pay, it's more than paid for itself.

One system

Online was always a pain for us until this. Having our own little store with live prices that actually update has made a difference. No weird fees eating into the margins. Counter work is cleaner too, and the text alerts when we get new stock are simple but effective. Customers respond to them.

Online store

Labels and inventory used to eat up way too much of the day. Now it's quick, the pricing stays current, and we can reprice stuff without starting from scratch every time the market moves. People comment on how professional the screens look. It's just less friction day to day.

Labels · inventory

I've tried a few different setups over the years and most of them feel like they were built for regular retail and then someone added "coins" as an afterthought. This one doesn't. Buying is straightforward, the boards are accurate, and the online side doesn't cost us extra every time something sells. Support has been decent when we needed it.

Built for dealers

After six months I can say it's made us more organized and a bit more profitable. Counter is faster, the website actually moves product, and texting customers about new arrivals works better than email ever did. The price displays help a lot with trust. We're not going back to the old way.
