Add-on · not in base plan

Phone and chat that know your prices

Optional add-on. Answers common calls and website chat with your real buy and sell prices, hours, and links to stock — not a dead phone tree that cannot say what you pay for silver.

AI Call Attendant is billed separately from the main SpotPro plan. Packages range from website chat-only up through heavier phone use (public marketing often lists tiers such as chat-only, Starter, Pro, and Unlimited — confirm current packages and pricing in Configuration → AI Call Attendant).

When set up, the attendant can use your live shop prices, answer hours and location questions, point people at inventory links on ExtraCoins or auction, and let staff take over live website chats with canned replies. Voice packages can provision a SpotPro-hosted local AI number (often preferring your area code).

Product-link and some transactional SMS may use SpotPro’s platform messaging number for compliance, which is different from your Twilio marketing number. Read the package details before you point Google Business or the main hunt line at the AI DID.

How it works day to day

The details you need before you try it on the counter.

What it is good at

After-hours “what do you pay for silver?”, “are you open Saturday?”, “do you buy scrap?”, and “where are you located?” — the calls that interrupt dinner but should not require a full buy ticket. Website chat covers the same ground for people already on your site.

With inventory search enabled for your package, it can point shoppers at live stock links instead of saying “call the shop.” Staff takeover lets a human finish a deal without making the customer start over.

Monitor and take over chat

What it is not

It is not Sales Checkout or NumisNexus. It will not weigh scrap, authenticate a coin under a loupe, or wire six figures without a human. Complex negotiations, wire instructions, and anything that needs judgment stay with your team.

It is also not the free Spot marketing chat on spotpro.us (that is a sales copilot for the product). Dealer AI Call Attendant is your shop’s phone/chat — separate product, separate bill.

Setup overview

Common questions

Short answers dealers ask before they try this on the floor.

Is AI included in the main SpotPro price?
No. AI Call Attendant is a separate subscription. Base SpotPro covers POS and multi-channel selling without requiring AI.
Can two people call at once?
Higher packages support concurrent callers. Check the package table in config for simultaneous call limits before you advertise the AI number as the main line.
Will it invent prices?
It is wired to use your live SpotPro buy/sell context when set up correctly. Always keep Company Profile, boards, and inventory current — garbage in, garbage out.

What coin shops say

Real dealers. Real floors. Same software we run at The Coin Shop in Brighton.

Busy shop plus shows was always a juggling act. This system handles both without forcing us to keep separate lists or files. Stock stays consistent, labels are easy, and the online and wholesale pieces don't fight with the counter. It just feels practical. Happy we switched.

Shop + shows

We've been with SpotPro for 5 years, and it's been a Godsend for our shop. The standout? Definitely the Point of Sale Display. Also the text messaging — a quick notification after new stock and customers come calling.

TV boards · SMS

Since we started using SpotPro, we've noticed a significant change in how we do things. Real-time pricing and the POS Display have really helped. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try if you're in the business.

Live pricing

SpotPro's e-commerce service has increased our online presence. No selling fees. Absolutely worth it.

ExtraCoins · $0 cut

The text messaging service keeps our customers in the loop for new inventory. It's a great tool for letting customers know what's going on.

Messaging

The Scrap Gold table has made purchasing scrap gold super easy. New customers never question our prices.

Scrap gold

We've been really impressed with SpotPro's features, like the gold coin database. This thing saves a ton of time. Highly recommend!

Reference tools

I've been in this business long enough to be tired of software that doesn't get how we actually work. SpotPro finally does. Buying at the counter and at shows is way faster now, the prices on the big screen stay current so customers stop arguing, and the online store actually sells without nickel-and-diming us on fees. It's just made the whole shop run smoother.

Counter · TV · store

Wasn't looking for another system, but a buddy talked me into trying it. Glad he did. Inventory, labels, counter, and the website all stay in sync for once. Customers trust the prices more because they update themselves, and the scrap gold tool is simple enough that even my part-timers don't mess it up. It's been a solid upgrade.

Inventory · scrap

The TV screen alone was worth it. People walk in, see the current numbers, and relax instead of pulling out their phones to check. Texting customers when new stuff comes in brings them back faster than I expected. Online sales are finally consistent without the usual marketplace headaches. Setup wasn't a nightmare either.

TV boards · SMS

I do a lot of shows and still keep the shop open, so I needed something that works in both places. Tracking buys by location, printing clean receipts, and keeping stock straight has been a relief. The online store and the wholesale side both pull from the same inventory, which cuts down on the usual double-entry mess. Feels like it was made by someone who's actually done this job.

Shows · wholesale

We used to bounce between a couple different programs and still end up with mistakes. Now everything's in one place and it just works. The price boards look professional, customers notice, and the directory listings have brought in a few new faces. Staff picked it up pretty quick. For what we pay, it's more than paid for itself.

One system

Online was always a pain for us until this. Having our own little store with live prices that actually update has made a difference. No weird fees eating into the margins. Counter work is cleaner too, and the text alerts when we get new stock are simple but effective. Customers respond to them.

Online store

Labels and inventory used to eat up way too much of the day. Now it's quick, the pricing stays current, and we can reprice stuff without starting from scratch every time the market moves. People comment on how professional the screens look. It's just less friction day to day.

Labels · inventory

I've tried a few different setups over the years and most of them feel like they were built for regular retail and then someone added "coins" as an afterthought. This one doesn't. Buying is straightforward, the boards are accurate, and the online side doesn't cost us extra every time something sells. Support has been decent when we needed it.

Built for dealers

After six months I can say it's made us more organized and a bit more profitable. Counter is faster, the website actually moves product, and texting customers about new arrivals works better than email ever did. The price displays help a lot with trust. We're not going back to the old way.
