Your marketing website — charts, dark mode, and want-list portal

Included with SpotPro: a polished public site at yourname.dealer.spotpro.us — live gold/silver/platinum/palladium charts, light & dark mode, hours, map, ExtraCoins store link, local SEO, and a customer want-list portal. Built from Company Profile. Live demo: democoinshop.dealer.spotpro.us.

Collectors still Google “coin shop near me.” A professional public page with accurate hours, a map, live metal markets, and a way to leave a want list matters even if ExtraCoins is your full catalog. SpotPro builds that presence from the same Company Profile you already maintain for receipts, auction storefront, and directory listings.

Your page lives at yourname.dealer.spotpro.us (or your own domain when ready). Logo, address, phone, description, and display flags edit once. The splash is feature-grade: sticky navigation, live SpotPro metal charts with range controls, dark mode, services, want-list login, FAQ, and SEO schema. When you need multi-page hosting and email on your domain, add CoinWebHosting — and embed the want-list signup on that site with a copy-paste widget.

Shop CRM — want lists & birthday notes

Automated process (optional, default ON): When want lists are enabled, SpotPro watches inventory you save and emails matching customers automatically — no manual send. Turn the feature off anytime under Messaging → Shop CRM (Want lists — automated alerts). When OFF, the Dealer Site hides the signup form, embeds show Want lists OFF, and match emails pause. Existing accounts stay in CRM.

For customers: On your Dealer Site they create a free account (email + mobile + password), open Want list, and add keywords (e.g. “1880-CC Morgan”, “1 oz Maple”), optional metal, and notes. Optional birthday on the account for a Happy Birthday email. When you stock matching inventory, SpotPro emails a branded alert with clear Where to get it links when the item is on your online store or a live auction.

For staff: Messaging → Shop CRM / Want lists — master on/off, accounts, wants, sent message log, and editable templates (default / in-shop / online store / auction / Happy Birthday). Add walk-ins by hand. Matches fire when POS inventory is saved (qty > 0). Print want-list QR or download PDF for a branded letter poster (shows and counter) when the marketing site is published and want lists are ON. This is an alert list for your shop — not a separate checkout channel.

Embed on your own site: Web Design Tools → want-list button styles (gold pill, navy, outline, soft glass, card CTA) or form. Widgets show ON or OFF status so staff know automation state. Same accounts as the Dealer Site portal. Host must match Company Profile website or Dealer Site.

Live markets on your page

Gold, silver, platinum, and palladium charts load from SpotPro with the same range controls dealers know (24H through All). Charts respect light and dark mode. Spots are for reference — your staff still quote buy/sell on the counter or phone.

Company Profile is the source

Logo, address, phone, description, and payment display flags live in Shop setup → Company Profile — never under Staff & Access. Staff PINs are a different page. Keep Profile accurate and every public surface that reads it stays consistent. Publish the Dealer Site slug once; updates flow through automatically.

When you need more than a one-pager

ExtraCoins is the catalog and cart. The dealer site is the “find us / live spots / call us / want-list” layer. Full marketing sites, blogs, and info@yourdomain.com email need hosting on your domain — that is CoinWebHosting, billed separately with member rates. Put the want-list embed on that site so collectors can sign up without leaving your brand.

Common questions

Short answers dealers ask before they try this on the floor.

Is the dealer page free?
Yes — included with SpotPro. You maintain Company Profile; SpotPro publishes the public presence with charts, dark mode, SEO, and want-list portal. Full cPanel hosting on your domain is optional and separate.
How do want-list alerts work?
It is an automated process, optional and ON by default. Customers register on your Dealer Site (or via the embed form), add what they want, and keep alerts on. When staff save matching inventory, SpotPro emails them using your editable template — with store or auction links when the item is listed there. Staff can turn want lists off under Messaging → Shop CRM; the public form hides and embeds show Want lists OFF until you turn it back on.
Do you send Happy Birthday emails?
Yes. If a birthday is on the customer account (portal My account or staff in Shop CRM), SpotPro sends one branded Happy Birthday email per year using the editable Happy Birthday template. No separate opt-in checkbox. Daily job handles delivery.
Can I put the signup on my WordPress site?
Yes. Web Designer Tools has a want-list button embed and an inline form embed. The form creates the same portal account; the button sends people to your Dealer Site register page. Embeds only work on your registered website host or Dealer Site.
Can I use my own domain on the free page?
Yes — optional custom domain A-record for the Dealer Site. For multi-page sites and mailbox email on your domain, use CoinWebHosting.

What coin shops say

Real dealers. Real floors. Same software we run at The Coin Shop in Brighton.

We've been with SpotPro for 5 years, and it's been a Godsend for our shop. The standout? Definitely the Point of Sale Display. Also the text messaging — a quick notification after new stock and customers come calling.

TV boards · SMS

Online was always a pain for us until this. Having our own little store with live prices that actually update has made a difference. No weird fees eating into the margins. Counter work is cleaner too, and the text alerts when we get new stock are simple but effective. Customers respond to them.

Online store

We used to bounce between a couple different programs and still end up with mistakes. Now everything's in one place and it just works. The price boards look professional, customers notice, and the directory listings have brought in a few new faces. Staff picked it up pretty quick. For what we pay, it's more than paid for itself.

One system

After six months I can say it's made us more organized and a bit more profitable. Counter is faster, the website actually moves product, and texting customers about new arrivals works better than email ever did. The price displays help a lot with trust. We're not going back to the old way.

Counter · store

Busy shop plus shows was always a juggling act. This system handles both without forcing us to keep separate lists or files. Stock stays consistent, labels are easy, and the online and wholesale pieces don't fight with the counter. It just feels practical. Happy we switched.

Shop + shows

The Scrap Gold table has made purchasing scrap gold super easy. New customers never question our prices.

Scrap gold

The text messaging service keeps our customers in the loop for new inventory. It's a great tool for letting customers know what's going on.

Messaging

The TV screen alone was worth it. People walk in, see the current numbers, and relax instead of pulling out their phones to check. Texting customers when new stuff comes in brings them back faster than I expected. Online sales are finally consistent without the usual marketplace headaches. Setup wasn't a nightmare either.

SpotPro's e-commerce service has increased our online presence. No selling fees. Absolutely worth it.

ExtraCoins · $0 cut

Labels and inventory used to eat up way too much of the day. Now it's quick, the pricing stays current, and we can reprice stuff without starting from scratch every time the market moves. People comment on how professional the screens look. It's just less friction day to day.

Labels · inventory

Since we started using SpotPro, we've noticed a significant change in how we do things. Real-time pricing and the POS Display have really helped. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try if you're in the business.

Live pricing

I do a lot of shows and still keep the shop open, so I needed something that works in both places. Tracking buys by location, printing clean receipts, and keeping stock straight has been a relief. The online store and the wholesale side both pull from the same inventory, which cuts down on the usual double-entry mess. Feels like it was made by someone who's actually done this job.

Shows · wholesale

We've been really impressed with SpotPro's features, like the gold coin database. This thing saves a ton of time. Highly recommend!

Reference tools

I've tried a few different setups over the years and most of them feel like they were built for regular retail and then someone added "coins" as an afterthought. This one doesn't. Buying is straightforward, the boards are accurate, and the online side doesn't cost us extra every time something sells. Support has been decent when we needed it.

Built for dealers

Wasn't looking for another system, but a buddy talked me into trying it. Glad he did. Inventory, labels, counter, and the website all stay in sync for once. Customers trust the prices more because they update themselves, and the scrap gold tool is simple enough that even my part-timers don't mess it up. It's been a solid upgrade.

Inventory · scrap

I've been in this business long enough to be tired of software that doesn't get how we actually work. SpotPro finally does. Buying at the counter and at shows is way faster now, the prices on the big screen stay current so customers stop arguing, and the online store actually sells without nickel-and-diming us on fees. It's just made the whole shop run smoother.
